'A Day With the People' is an experience designed to bring you into direct contact with the people of Haiti and their daily activities. This full-day experience begins with morning cultural activities and is followed by a lunch and rest period ending with an afternoon debriefing session. Choose CITY DAY and/or COUNTRY DAY to help guarantee a more rounded cultural understanding for your group.

City Day -- A hand-picked guide will take you on a one-on-one morning excursion through the streets of Port-au-Prince: ride the tap-taps, visit outdoor street markets, homes, and schools.

Country Day -- A loosely structured day where you can participate in several different activities including meal preparations, garden visits, roasting coffee beans and/or peanuts, playing traditional games, and learning African-rooted rhythms and dances.
