The forest vegetation of this park is dominated by the pine forest (Pinus occidentalis), which is the natural forest of Haiti. La Visite National Park conservers Caribbean Islands fauna and flora. The forest is scattered with fragments of drier karst broadleaf, which are implanted within the pine stands. The growth of cloud forest or wet broadleaf montane are confined to ravines. Numerous beautiful and rare species of birds including some endemic to the Caribbean Island is the greatest attraction of this park.

La Visite National Park is the most sought after attraction of Haiti, where one could see tourists engrossed in bird watching and sipping Haitian cocktail rum. It is the best place for sightseeing, bird watching and various activities that are offered by this park. One could spend their whole day with their family and friends, enjoying picnic talking to the nature.
